Chris Marinkovich Sr..

CEO

Chris’s career in the sheet metal & HVAC industry started in the mid 1980’s, as a journeyman sheet metal worker. As his skills and career progressed, an opportunity to begin a new endeavor presented itself to him & his wife. Chris & Sheryl co-founded Quality Aire Systems in 1994. The business started in the residential HVAC market, focusing on new home installation and replacement services.

As the business was growing, it led Chris & Sheryl to pursue larger caliber projects such as Commercial Buildings, Restaurants, College Universities, Healthcare Buildings and the K-12 School market. With continued growth and success, they introduced their children and other family members into the Mechanical/HVAC industry and began training them in all aspects. Chris & Sheryl continue to assist and support Quality Aire Systems in its business operations. They both agree that one of the most fulfilling and rewarding accomplishments of their personal and professional lives is building and growing Quality Aire Systems with their family, friends, and employees.

Christopher Marinkovich JR

President

Chris Jr, following in his father’s footsteps has taken on the role as President of the company. Chris has successfully integrated both the residential and commercial divisions of the business under the Quality Aire Systems umbrella focusing on maintaining strong, efficient, and ethical work environments. With 20 years of HVAC & Sheet Metal experience, his attention to detail, devotion to customer satisfaction and striving to deliver the utmost quality, service, and attention to clients is what has taken Quality Aire to the next level. Chris’ leadership and relationships have helped the business grow within the last 5 years from a 20-employee operation to over 60 employees and quadrupled its yearly sales.  As President, Chris oversees the daily operations of the company including estimating, forecasting, project management & coordination, design, and installation of projects. Chris’s passion coupled with his work ethic, provides no surprise in the continued growth and success of Quality Aire Systems.

Nicholas Marinkovich

Vice President

Nick much like his father and brother has gained his knowledge from the field. He has over 15 years of field experience as a journeyman sheet metal worker and is a 4 year apprenticeship graduate. Nick now manages a multitude of projects at Quality Aire Systems. Nick’s roles range from project management, assistance in estimating, shop fabrication management, purchasing, as well as the daily shop practices to field logistics. His hard work and devotion to the business has helped grow the in-house fabrication to a high quality, efficient and profitable operation.

Matt Fochler

Director of Operations

Matt has over 15 years of experience in the mechanical/construction industry, from the field – management, with various certificates and training in, Leadership Management, Project Management (PMP), Operations Management & Business Development. Since joining Quality Aire Systems in 2019 as Director of Operations – Matt supports and works closely with Chris Jr. (President) and Nick (Vice President) across all aspects of business activities, operations, and strategic planning. Matt is very passionate about leadership development and helping others to grow and develop professionally as well personally. When not at work, he enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with his best friend and rescue dog, Moose.

Julie West

Sr. Administrative Controller

Julie, or better known as “Aunt Julie” – has been with Quality Aire Systems Inc. since 1999. As Sr. Administrative Controller, she has worn many hats throughout the years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Julie has been in the mechanical construction – HVAC industry for over 35 years. Her vast knowledge and experience of all business operations and industry with Quality Aire Systems Inc. is nothing short of impressive. Julie resides in Monroe, Michigan with her husband Dean. They recently have become “empty nesters” and enjoy traveling, entertaining with family & friends, and spending as much time as possible with their beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Cookie.

Nicki Marinkovich

Human Resources – Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Nicki is a professional in Business Management, with over 15 years of experience within the arena of Customer Relations, New Hire/On-Boarding process, Labor Costing, Payroll Management & coordination of Employee Healthcare Benefits. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing & Management. Shortly after earning her degree, she began her career with Quality Aire Systems, Inc. in 2014. Nicki is a member of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is working toward her SHRM SCP certification. She currently resides in South Lyon, Michigan with her husband Chris Marinkovich. When she is not working, she enjoys activities outdoors with family and friends and time spent at home with her four fur babies.

Brittney Kopchia

Project Coordinator

Brittney received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. After Graduation, she accepted a position as a project coordinator within a microbiology department, which was involved in the safety, quality testing and certification of consumer products and systems. With the knowledge acquired in this role, she decided to seek a path within a new field that could help diversify and broaden these coordination skills. Brittney has been with Quality Aire systems since 2020 as a Project coordinator, aiding in the successful completion of commercial and light commercial projects.

Eric Dempsey

Project Coordinator

Eric joined Quality Aire Systems Inc. as a Project Coordinator in June of 2021. He has over 2 years of experience in the field of mechanical/HVAC and nearly 10 years of experience in the field of construction. He graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Dayton. Eric resides in Saline Michigan with his wife Kortney and their 2 children. When at work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer, volleyball, and mountain biking.

Chris Turner

Residential Sales & Service Manager

Chris has 18 years of experience as a HVAC technician. In 2004, Chris started as an apprentice with a small residential HVAC company, where began to grow his professional career. In 2010, Chris joined Quality Aire Systems Inc. as a HVAC service technician. In his new position, he quickly started to gain experience and knowledge in commercial installation and sheet metal design – fabrication. In 2018, alongside of Chris Jr., they began to grow the company’s light commercial and special projects division. Chris is currently the residential and light commercial sales manager. In addition to his core position responsibilities, Chris also assists with the HVAC service department with scheduling, estimating, and project management. Chris is driven by his commitment to provide the best quality service and experience for each customer.

David Springs

HVAC Service Manger

Dave joined the Quality Aire Systems team as the HVAC Service Manager in 2021. Dave has a vast knowledge of the HVAC industry, in which he accumulated over his 42-year career. He attended Ferris State University and graduated with an Associate’s degree in HVAC. Dave currently resides in Brooklyn, Michigan with his wife. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and traveling to his property in northern Michigan.

Nate Martin

Installation Manager

Nate joined Quality Aire Systems Inc. as Installation Manager in 2021. He has over 7 years of experience in the construction management field. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Nate resides in Romulus Michigan with his wife Lauren. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, and sports.

Clint Harris

Hydronic Piping Consultant and Estimator

Clint has over 45 years in the mechanical pipefitting industry. He completed his apprenticeship in 1975 and worked as a pipefitter until 1992. From there, he started his own pipefitting business, where he worked until 2021. Shortly after, he transitioned to the Quality Aire Systems team. As the hydronics consultant/estimator, he aids in the bidding process of new projects and helps manage the hydronic work on current projects. When Clint isn’t working hard at Quality Aire Systems, he enjoys talking to people about the Bible and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.
